Our Project

FREE HEALTH AND FITNESS PROGRAMME FOR WOMEN

Good health and regular execises is integral to daily living. Health is always given prime priority at Asian Community and Development Academy (ACDA) as our quality of life very much depends on our health and fitness

We need to be physically and mentally strong and fit to live a balanced life

ACDA have planned number of Health and Fitness workshops and classes to ensure that people are physically fit and mentally happy

A qualified medical co-ordinator carries out the medical and our tutor conduct Yoga and Giddha classes

OUR HEALTH CHECK WORKSHOPS AND CLINICS PROVIDE:

General check-ups, advice on management of blood presure, high cholesterol and hearing problems, height, weight is measured

Advice on exercise, diet and nutrition

Information leaflets on the above

Seminars, lectures, group sessions on various illnesses

If necessary, referrals to their own GP

EXERCISE -YOGA AND GIDDHA DANCE SESSIONS  PROVIDES

Improve muscular movements

Reduce joint pain due to arthritis

Reduce weight and cholesterol through exercise and diet

Alleviate anxiety and depression

improve blood circulation, thereby a health heart
